Melissa & Doug First Bead Maze

My 11-month-old loves sliding the bright yellow bead all the way to the top of the wire. The wooden base keeps it steady on the play mat, which is a big plus.

My 14-month-old can't get enough of twisting those brightly colored beads around the loops, and the whole thing feels sturdy enough to survive her enthusiastic yanks. It's been a lifesaver for keeping her entertained during dinner prep for the past few weeks.

The beads glide so smoothly along the wire that my baby can easily move them without getting frustrated. It's been a great distraction during diaper changes and tummy time.
